Sometimes I feel like the writing is a little weak… but I love the show anyway.

I realize it is a new show and there will be growing pains, character dev. etc.

I love the main characters. They are talented, real, down to earth and grounded actors / actresses. ( Although I do not know them personally- they have such a presence on the show, how can they not be ? )

The best part of the show for me is the music. I believe many of these featured artists will gain much more recognition from being on the show. They have their own fan base to begin with, but just as Grey’s Anatomy catapulted many lesser known but way more talented than the mainstream pop tarts artists to a larger and more appreciative audience, The Cleaner artists will follow in those steps.

Now if A&E would get on board and post the play list ( As does Grey’s Anatomy ………….)

What’s the name of the song in “Here Comes the Boom” that has lyrics including the phrases “knees shaking…brain is gonna sort it all out…we don’t have to go that far…where you don’t belong?”

    Would love to know.

  • 3 TheCleaner // Aug 20, 2008 at 6:24 am

Pythea, great question! The song from ‘Here Comes The Boom’ is played by Jack Savoretti and the song name is ‘Chemical Courage’. The post has been updated to include this information and the MP3 player also includes the song by Jack.

  • 4 Pythea // Aug 22, 2008 at 6:31 am

Thank you, but, no, that’s not the song. The song I’m talking about played earlier in the show, about mid-way through. Anyone know?

  • 5 Lenny // Aug 25, 2008 at 6:01 am

Ok This is nuts! I have been on every forum & Soundtrack site & I CAN NOT find this song. It’s the one others are talking about on the episode “Here comes the Boom”.

The song plays while his son is throwing footballs thru the school’s windows. It’s in clip #4 (about 4 minutes in) on the A&E Cleaner Episode list for “Here comes the boom”. If you see the entire show, it’s about 31 minutes in.

The song is AWESOME, but the lyrics are nearly impossible to get. Anyway, I would appreciate if anyone could help out on this one. I even wrote to A&E but they NEVER responded. Typical…

    Anyone have ANY idea???
    Thanks Folks

  • 6 RPanesar // Aug 26, 2008 at 3:53 am

The song you’re looking for is P.O.D “Boom”

  • 7 Lenny // Aug 26, 2008 at 5:08 am

Sorry man, but it is NOT Boom, by POD. I have the POD album Satellite featuring Boon & that is definately not it.

The song I want plays the Bratt’s son is throwing footballs thru the school’s windows. The Lyrics go somethinf like this:

    “Hey, Don’t you thank him
    When I put you down…..
    ……..
My heart will keep on beating,
    I will hold you tight
    My knees keep on shakin”

or someting like that, it’s tough to catch.

    Thank for trying..
    I, I, I, Dance down the line

  • 8 Lenny // Aug 26, 2008 at 9:02 pm

Ok, here’s a better description of the Lyrics for the song I’m looking for:

    My head been thinking/
    My eyes gonna shoot down/
My heart is gonna keep on beating/

My arms will squeeze you tight/
    My knees been shaking/
My brain is gonna sort it all out/

Youve been where where where where where where you dont belong/ x2

We dont even have to go that far/

    any assistance would be appreciated..
    Thanks peeps

hey what is the name of the song played at the end of the A&E Cleaner Episode called (to catch a fed) the song is played at the end of the episode

  • 10 Deborah // Aug 27, 2008 at 4:27 am

I agree that it is a very good piece. I played all the songs listed from the show and cannot find it. Would love to know more……

  • 11 Nikki // Aug 27, 2008 at 7:17 am

I’m in agreement totally with Adam&Deborah!!! I thought it might be an older song by R.E.M, but researched it and don’t think so. It’s VERY frustrating because I know I heard this song played on heavy rotation in the late 90′s and the group is not an obscure one……….Anyone else out there have any ideas?

  • 12 Rick // Aug 27, 2008 at 4:56 pm

I too thought it was an REM song and would like to know what that song is.
last song from ” to catch a fed”

  • 13 Todd // Aug 27, 2008 at 5:47 pm

You’re probably thinking the “Mad World” by ‘Tears for Fears” in the late 90′s. The version played on the show is most likely the version by Gary Jules from the CD “Trading Snakeoil for Wolftickets”

  • 14 adam // Aug 27, 2008 at 7:02 pm

hey thanks todd i’ve been wanting too know that song for a long time thank you

  • 15 Lenny // Aug 29, 2008 at 6:42 pm

    EUREKA!!!

The song that plays while William’s son throws footballs thru the school window is:

“Where You Dont Belong” by One-Eyed Mule

  • 17 Brian // Aug 31, 2008 at 5:59 pm

Any idea who covered “Fever” in the series premiere? It sounds like Peggy Lee’s original vocal, but with heavier guitar added. The song plays during the scene where Grace Park’s character admires the yellow sports car. Is this version of “Fever” available?

  • 18 Brandon // Sep 2, 2008 at 5:29 am

Actually its “Mad world” by Michael Andrew & Gary Jules not Tears for Fears, same song but different version.

  • 19 Chrissi // Sep 3, 2008 at 2:33 am

Hey does anyone know the name of the song or the artists who sang the song at the very beginning of tonight’s episode? It was an acoustic song being sang during the funeral at the very beginning. It was a beautiful song and I would like to know who it was, if anyone knows I would appreciate it if you could help me figure it out. Thanks!!

  • 20 mark // Sep 3, 2008 at 3:29 am

My ? is the same as Chrissi’s .that acoustical song at the beginning by the long curly blond and the dark headed girl. I can quote one line from the song “The moon only shine’s with the help of the sun” if someone can help please?!

  • 21 mina // Sep 3, 2008 at 4:15 am

the song you are looking for is “walk you home” by karmina. available on itunes.

  • 23 Alice // Sep 4, 2008 at 3:02 am

Good evening. I am looking for the name of the song sung at the end of last weeks episode “Meet the Jones.”

Thanks to everyone that has supplied information on the music played on this program!

  • 24 Brady // Sep 4, 2008 at 6:37 am

Alice, I believe the song you are looking for from ‘Meet The Joneses’ is called ‘Said and Done’ by Meiko. The song is mentioned in #5 above.

  • 25 Alice // Sep 5, 2008 at 12:49 am

    Thank you very much Brandy.

  • 26 Teresa // Sep 10, 2008 at 11:28 pm

What is the name of the song in the beginning of ‘House of Pain’ Who sings it? Where can I find it?

  • 27 Chris // Oct 4, 2008 at 7:09 pm

Anyone know the song at the end of “Back to One”? Would realy love to know. THanks

  • 28 marzbarz // Oct 5, 2008 at 9:36 pm

Same question as Chris posted. Actually, there were a couple of songs in “Back to One” that I have not yet been able to figure out, but the final song has failed all my searches on lyrics sites and such. Someone said it might be Ryan Adams, but I’ve not found a song by him with those lyrics.

  • 29 Sandie // Oct 8, 2008 at 3:59 am

  • 35 Charlie // Oct 15, 2008 at 3:09 pm

I think the Track you are all talking about that was played at the end of “five little words” was by a band called Scars on 45 from a site called slicethepie – they’ve had a few tracks played on the show before, one of them was called “insecurity”…the track you guys are talking about sounds exactly like them although im not sure what it is called…Check out their MySpace at: http://www.MySpace.com/Scarson45

  • 36 Joe // Oct 16, 2008 at 4:30 am

For all who were wondering, the song at the end of Five Little Words is called Insecurity by Scars on 45. Its just a demo and isn’t on Itunes yet, though they have a couple of other songs on there. You can listen to it on their myspace page though, if you’re interested.

  • 37 Chelcie // Oct 18, 2008 at 10:16 pm

will the rest of these songs be available on a cd soon??

  • 38 stephanie // Oct 20, 2008 at 1:25 pm
